Grand Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur Review
Just like visitors to Paris want a view of Eiffel Tower from their hotel window, Kuala Lumpur tourists want a view of Petronas Twin tower from their hotel window. I had always dreamed of spending a day in the hotel that would look out to the towers. Luck favored and I could get to sat in are one among them Grand Seasons Hotel. Take it from me, this would be the best choice for a stay in the city! Grand Seasons Hotel is a four star hotel built between the years 1996 and 1998 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The hotel, (Malay: Hotel Grand Seasons), is well connected through good road network and is close to Monorail Stations Titiwangsa and Chow Kit.
My Room in Grand Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur
It was a long day of tour from one theme park to another. This day we toured Sunway Lagoon andi-City Shah Alam. I rested peacefully in their deluxe room (with King sized bed) with grand views of Twin towers of Kuala Lumpur and the skyline of the city. During night the city seemed magical with its illuminated sky rise buildings. The room had all the usual amenities. There is a connecting room if you wish to avail for a family of 4. You can choose from their deluxe room, season’s crest, junior suite, bridal suite. Here is a slideshow of the room’s amenities.
Dining at Grand Seasons Restaurants
They have not just one restaurant but FOUR restaurants in Grand Seasons! And each with a specialty of its own! The breakfast spread at their Season’s Coffee House was ultimate. They spoil their guests with a grand spread of International Buffet. Check out their timings for Buffet dinner, buffet lunch and high tea buffet. You wouldn’t want to step out.
And they have something special for their Indian guests. Their O’Las Indian Restaurant offers the best menu of fine Indian food. It is open whole day long.
Their Avenue Café is a cosy corner to catch up with friends and business associates.
The Kasbah Bar and Lounge has a stylish ambiance of mystical Turkey.
Facilities at Grand Seasons Hotel
Their facilities include fully equipped gymnasium and pool. The pool area is available for private parties, dinners and cocktails. I just walked through these. Wish I stayed on a little longer to experience the facilities.

Nearby Attractions of Kuala Lumpur from Hotel Grand Seasons
I availed the proximity of the hotel to nearby Kuala Lumpur attractions to my advantage as the Grand Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur enjoys a strategic location surrounded by a plethora of attractions and landmarks that showcase the vibrant essence of Malaysia’s capital city. Here are some nearby sights and attractions:
- Petronas Twin Towers: The first sight landmark of Kuala Lumpur I visited was the Petronas Twin Towers. These iconic twin towers, once the tallest buildings in the world, is just a short drive away from Grand Seasons Hotel. I visited at night and I was amazed by the stunning architecture all lit up brightly. I explored the sky bridge connecting the towers, and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the observation deck.
- KL Tower (Menara Kuala Lumpur): Next, I targeted the KL Tower that stands tall amidst the city skyline. Woah! KL Tower offers breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur. Hewre too I could ascend to the observation deck for a bird’s eye view of the cityscape and enjoy dining at the revolving restaurant. Be warned, it can dent your pocket.
- Bukit Bintang: Known as Kuala Lumpur’s premier shopping and entertainment district, Bukit Bintang is a vibrant hub teeming with shopping malls, street markets, restaurants, cafes, and nightlife hotspots. Visitors can indulge in retail therapy, savor delicious cuisine, and experience the lively atmosphere of the area.
- Central Market: Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Central Market is a cultural and heritage landmark showcasing Malaysian arts, crafts, and cultural performances. I took time to explore its vibrant stalls offering a wide range of souvenirs, handicrafts, and traditional Malaysian products.
- Chinatown (Petaling Street): Just a short distance from Grand Seasons Hotel, Chinatown beckons with its bustling streets, vibrant markets, and rich cultural heritage. I had a memorable time wandering through colorful streets and sampled delicious street food. I resisted falling in love with the variety of souvenirs and local goods.
- National Museum of Malaysia: As the largest museum in Malaysia, the National Museum offers insights into the country’s history, culture, and heritage. The extensive collection of artifacts, exhibits, and galleries showcasing Malaysia’s diverse cultural heritage is worth exploring.
My sincere thanks to Malaysia Tourism for hosting my travel and stay in Kuala Lumpur. I was a part of the media team that visited Kuala Lumpur for promotion of the destination. The opinions and pictures are completely mine.

I haven’t been to KL yet but I have plans to visit it soon. I believe Grand Seasons Hotel would be best for me and my parents as the view of Petronas Twin Tower is clear from the hotel room and even the food looks decent. This would be a good choice for us. Thanks for the share.
When I come to KL, I always stay at the Traders Hotel. Mostly because of the surroundings. The park is perfect for an early morning run. Other than that, I wouldn’t mind staying at Grand Seasons.
The grand season looks a perfect place to stay in KL centrally located and an amazing view of the twin tower is added bonus.
The dining experience sounds delight .
When we visited Kuala Lumpur almost two years ago. We stayed far from the Petronas Twin Towers. We did come into the city to see them, but I wish we had stayed closer. The Grand Seasons sounds like it would have been the perfect spot for us. The room looks comfortable and the food sounds delicious. We are planning on going back to Malaysia and this time we’ll spend more time in KL. Looking forward to checking out the Grand Seasons.
One hotel that has missed my radar. Looks fantastic. I love centrally located hotels, especially in KL. And bonus points for the view !
Location, location, location! It’s definitely the most important thing when choosing a hotel. I’ve never been to Kuala Lumpur, but from what you are describing the Grand Seasons Hotel is definitely in the best part of the city. Besides, the room looks really comfortable and with a great view. What more can you wish for?
The Grand Seasons Hotel seems to be the perfect place to stay! With thst view it can’t really go wrong! And the food served at the International Buffet looks yummy! It’s awesome that there are several restaurants, it’s always good when to have more choice when you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. Thanks for this review!
I agree with you, Indrani. A hotel in KL with a view of Petronas Towers is a thing like a hotel in Paris with a view of Eiffel Tower. I am bookmarking Garden Seasons for my next trip to KL.
That view is really something! And the food looks absolutely delicious. Sounds like you had an amazing stay.
I wish I knew about this hotel when I went to KL (I was staying in this area as well). The hotel I was in was a dump. But I like the looks of this hotel and I hope to be back in KL soon, so hopefully I can check this place out for myself. 🙂
Looks like best place to stay in Malasiya for viewing city skyline..Lovely post
