Review of Santana Hotel Segovia in Spain
The tour of Segovia was one of the best we had in Spain. We just didn’t want to move away from the aqueduct of Segovia. But then as sun was slipping off the horizon we had to drag ourselves to our hotel. We booked Santana Hotel at Segovia for a night’s halt in between Salamanca and Madrid. If you noticed all these places are listed in UNESCO World Heritage sites of Spain, my itineraries are planned that way.
Santana Hotel
Santana Hotel opened in 2009. It has decent modern amenities that you will need during travel. The hotel has 35 rooms fully equipped with: free WiFi connection, TV, telephone, conditioning air, heating, and complete bathroom. It seems they have huge meeting room, their biggest plus factor.
My Stay in Hotel Santana
Santana Hotel is at a very short distance from the historical attractions of Segovia. Prime reason to select this was their “Free parking” and plenty of space for parking which is hard to find in the city. After parking facilities I check for internet facilities but on arriving at the hotel it is the bathrooms that I check first. In this case the bathrooms satisfied me beyond words but wifi isn’t strong in rooms.
After some futile attempts to update in social media I crashed out. I was looking forward to next day. The journey would be through El Escorial to Toledo and finally halting at Madrid.
The hotel didn’t look very populated. Reception was managed single handedly well by a young lady. She gave us enough helpful directions for restaurants to have dinner.
We got a room which accommodated all four of us, it was their Quad room. Very spacious even with 4 beds fitted in. The color tone of the room was soothing and gave the look of being homey.
Air conditioning was good and we felt fully rested in the morning. Breakfast spread was good and I was glad that the waiter there catered to my daughter’s specific choice of scrambled eggs to boiled eggs. It was good peaceful stay there!

Wow! Looks great! Reviews will sure help!
It’s good to get a hotel referral as it is so difficult to choose one. I have booked some horrible ones during my overseas travels!
Places like this are good for me and my style of travel. I just need a place to rest at night since I am not there most of the day.
Wonderful impressions of this cozy Hotel. Amazing light and view.

Love looking at hotels, whether in person or a virtual tour like this one. Enjoyed your review. How much was the nightly rates?
Hi Jackie, I know I should have included that , but somehow it is slipping my mind how much I paid then. However I have added a link where you can check the rates of the hotel stay.
