My Stay Experience at PNB Perdana, Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is a popular destination for tourists and traveler from India. This capital city of Malaysia offers a good mix of ethnic cultures, cuisines, shopping opportunities and modern theme parks. The city caters to every age group of people. And as always there is a search for best hotel in terms of location, facilities and budgets.
PNB Perdana, located in the heart of KL city, offers that perfect warmth and comfort in your business and leisure travels.
My Room in PNB Perdana
I rested undisturbed in a neatly done up 1 Bedroom Deluxe. It was a long day after flying in from Bangalore and visit to Genting Highlands. I was dead tired and to my delight found the room was furnished tastefully with a queen sized bed, table, chair, sofa set with a small center table and a TV. To my surprise I discovered a small fully equipped kitchen with a mini fridge and oven. So ideal for couples/families on a leisure trip I thought.
What I liked most about PNB Perdana
Location of PNB Perdana
- Magnificent Petronas Twin Towers is within walking distance from the hotel. At night I strolled with my friends to capture the lit towers. We were just in time for the Symphony water fountain show.
- Shopping complexes like Suria KLCC, Bintang Walk, Lot 10, Pavillion and Sungei Wang Plaza is within walking distance.
- The hotel is well connected through good road network and is close to Light Rail Transit System (LRT) Ampang Park Station.
Dining in The 39 Restuarant
At PNB Perdana we were hosted for a grand dinner at their roof top ‘The 39 Restaurant’. Incidentally this restaurant won the Best Restaurant award under Malay cuisine category by Malaysia Tourism Awards in 2012-2013. The sun was just setting and the dance of colors in the sky was magical. The scene of cloud skimming views is going to live in my memory for long. Read on to drool over the menu we had. (Pardon me for my carnivores bent of appetite.) I must add here that they have good options for vegetarian guests too.
The 10 Binjai Restaurant offers a good range of local and international dishes. It is open 6.30am to 11pm everyday of the year. We had our breakfast here.
Recreation Facilities at PNB Perdana
Frankly I did not avail any of their recreational facilities, just walked through them. But 2 things worth mentioning are: One, they have salt based swimming pool which use a natural salt based form of chlorine. And the other they provide separate timing to access swimming pool for female guests. It is between 9PM to 11PM.
Interior Décor of PNB Perdana
PNB Perdana lobby has a striking first impression. It has a good multi-use space for casual as well as formal talks, comfortable enough for working on laptops, and plugging in various devices. Furniture too well designed for comfort and functionality. Foyer spaces are well lit and decorated with fresh flowers. Hotel owners have also added local art works in rooms and open spaces. The different kinds of chandeliers and lighting I saw awed me completely.
PNB Perdana Staff
I cannot complete this post without mentioning about the ‘ever ready to help staff’ there. I had missed out on packing 2 things – one an adapter for charging and other a comb. It was embarrassing to ask but they put me at ease completely and send them to my room right away. Truly grateful for that timely help!
Overall Stay Experience at PNB Perdana
Though my stay at the hotel was less than 24 hours, I enjoyed my short and sweet experience there. Should I return to Kuala Lumpur with family I would definitely want to put ourselves up there. I am enamored by the fully equipped kitchen and will have to fight the dilemma of using it or enjoy the Malay cuisine at The 39 Restaurant.
I was a part of the media team that visited Kuala Lumpur for promotion of the destination. My sincere thanks to Malaysia Tourism for hosting my travel and stay in Kuala Lumpur. The opinions are completely mine.
The view from The 39 was absolutely magnificent.
So cool Indrani that you were close to the Petronas Towers. We have yet to stay in that area. KL is a city with plenty of flavor, from the melting pot of cultures to maybe the best street food on earth. Plus world class malls and some of the cheapest movies on earth, to combat piracy. When we last visited it was like 2-3 USD which was quite insane, considering the movie theaters were excellent and the movies had just been released in the US. Excellent post you wrote.
You have captured luxury, comfort and tastefully done decor of the hotel wonderfully. Completely loved the captures of those light shades. And, my favourite has to be the duo of that crimson red sofas. Yet to visit Kuala Lumpur, so will keep this reco in mind 🙂
Through your excellent review we come to know of a top class hotel that has its focus on the customers needs and their comfort to minute details when they stay with them. Your post has served the purpose of triggering readers’ interest in visiting KL and in particular choosing PNB Pardana for their sojourn..
Thanks
I am glad you found this good. Thank you for the comment.
