Our Stay at Hotel Crowne Plaza Venice East, Italy
We stayed at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Quarto d’Altino located in Venice East stayed when we toured Venice.
A cosy place seated serenely in the outskirts of Venice, it was worth the money we spent on stay there. Reaching Venice from Hotel Crown Plaza is an easy feat with frequent trains from Quarto d’Altino Train Station right behind it. It takes one minute to reach the station and twenty minutes to Santa Lucia Train Station in Venice.
The hotel had arranged for our pick up and drop to Venice Marco Polo Airport, sumptuous breakfast, large room and beds for my family of four. It is a 4 star hotel with lots of amenities, some of them free.
Buffet breakfast options were really good with lots to choose from continental and Italian spread.
A very warm reception, that grand feeling still lingers in my mind. Sharing some pictures of the Hotel Crowne Plaza. The window pane in the rear of the hotel displayed beautiful reflections of sky. That picture is for Sky Watch meme.
Parking is free at Hotel Crowne Plaza Venice and so is Wi-fi. Very friendly staff, they saw to it that our stay was hassle free. Check-in at Crowne Plaza Venice East is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is until 12:00 PM.
During the time we planned our travel in April 2010, ash from the volcanic eruption had covered large areas of Northern Europe. There were lot of travel cancellations. Hotel reservations too were cancelled. We didn’t see many guests in the hotel.
Quarto d’Altino Train Station
It was ritual for 3 consecutive days to wake up early, have a quick breakfast and walk to Quarto d’Altino Train Station which was just a minute’s walk from hotel. My kids, aged 14 and 10, were thoroughly excited about their first Europe Tour. I was surprised to see them get ready so quickly and wondered why I had to push them to get ready on time for school.
After a long time they were going to take train ride. Last time it was during Aurangabad Vacation. Europe trains are different – they concluded.
What a wonderful reflection! I've been in Venice, too. Many years ago.. 🙂
nice
Great reflections. I've stayed at a few crowne plazas but I've never been to Venice Italy. I want to go soon. 🙂
Stunning images!!!
Wonderful, like a mirror!
Absolutely marvellous photography. The reflection has come out so nicely that it looks amazing.
Great windows. Great reflections.
The pictures are so clean and beautiful.
The reflections make the windows look like stained glass.
It lookd likr s lovely hotel. My Venice stays were only for two full days and an overnight each but they were still joyful. I was there each time aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. The first time, I was there on my 55th birthday. We had dined with the captain the night before and, when he learned it would be my first time in Venice and my birthday on the following day, he invited us to the bridge to sail down the Grand Canal the following morning. What a vantage point that was! I got the most fabulous pictures!
Beautiful shots Indrani, I like these crystal clear reflections.
