Faces of India – 70 Cotton Candy Seller Karaikal Tamil Nadu
Faces of India,
Faces of India is a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. See more here…
The burden of cotton candy. Young boy selling these in Karaikal beach, Tamil Nadu.
Nice shot and color!
Very nice shot!
I ended up here somehow, but I just love this series on the faces, I have to find out what days you put it up…I am fascinated by the people you chose and I look at their faces and try to understand them.
Lovely click..

Fascinating. I have never seen it carried around like that.
What an interesting portrait…he looks so resigned and defeated in a way…like he is carrying a huge burden.

Lovely capture.
lovely colours. The classic blue and pink!
he doesn't look like the usual cotton candy seller!
Looks like fashion models,as if he was wearing something!
Somehow the serious face is a contrast to the fun, pink candy and bell! Great shot, Indrani!! Have a lovely weekend!
Here comes the candy man ringing his bell and all the children flock to him !
Good luck to him
Have a sweet weekend!
