Faces of India – 249 Young Patriots
Young school children participating in parade. Don’t they make adorable subjects for my faces of India series! Their enthusiasm charmed me. Notice their spotless white uniforms.
As a student I too did this parade kind of stuff. Seeing them I wished I was a child again and go left-right left-right! The photo was taken in Yediyur village, Kunigal taluk, Tumkur district
Faces of India,
a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. See more here…

Such a fresh and fine image!
Reminded me of my childhood! I was in NCC during my school days. All year I was a drab raven and always was transformed into a peacock on 15th August and 26th Jan. In fact, always waited for these two days.
Look at their happiness! 😀
The spotless white makes them so smart, doesn’t it.
