Faces of India – 100 Curious Child from Mandya
Faces of India,
Faces of India is a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. See more here…
This is the 100th post in the series of Faces of India in my blog. Thank you so much for your continued support and appreciation that kept me going with this series.
During my travels I casually chat with fellow passengers and locals. Often at the end of conversation I can get them pose for me. Till date none of the kids who had modeled for me has asked for my name. But this little girl in Mandya district of Karnataka, spoke to me, told me her name and she asked for my name too.
Can you believe that! It took me a few seconds to actually register that she was asking for my name.
How else would she track you to get her royalty.:)
She is so full of life and promise. 🙂
God bless her wherever she is.

Such a sweet smile. Perfect for your century.
I must congratulate you for your nice thought to have the faces of unknown strangers including kids you come across in your travel captured in your camera.May be these are the people whose pictures have never been taken and who would have been thrilled when you asked them to turn their faces.
As Hillary rightly suggested put a collage of pictures countrywise

That's wonderful, Indrani, that she asked for your name, too!! Those big beautiful eyes say it all and there's a lot of joy and laughter in her face! I love it!! I do so enjoy your series and I do hope you continue it!! Enjoy your weekend!

A lovely smile to start the day with 😀
I am a fan of your Faces of India series 😀
Oh what a sweetheart. It takes a kidlet to ask for what an adult wouldn't consider. That's incredibly endearing. Congrats on reaching 100 faces. You might want to consider doing a 10 by 10 collage of all of your faces to date.. your FIRST 100! 🙂
