Faces of India – 318 from Dantewada, Chhattisgarh
Faces of India
a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. Meet this school boy who takes up the work of a trekking guide in Dholkal, Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. The trek to Devimata Mandir and Suryamandir in Dholkal is through forests and a mountain at the edge of it. At the various steep climbs non trekkers definitely need a helping hand and these guys chip in.
I like the fact that these people are working hard and earning their money. If you have a will, you will always find a way, they say!
