Drive from Sintra to Alcobaca, Portugal – A Scenic Journey
Sintra offered us more than we expected in terms of architectural splendor. The colorful castle was treat to eyes. The next destination after Sintra was another UNESCO World Heritage site, Alcobaca. We drove 128kms that took around and an hour or so. The drive from Sintra to Alcobaca was so pleasing; we wished the journey would go on and on. At no time did we feel the rush. This journey through easy navigable roads was a satisfying way to experience the country.
Drive from Sintra to Alcobaca
One of the best ways to discover Portugal is to take road trips from one to town/city to another. Sharing here a few pictures from my drive to Monastery of Alcobaca from Sintra Portugal.
European road trips are reputed to be the best in world and now I know why! We were glad we made this decision to road trip through Spain and Portugal. The landscape scenes this road trip had to offer were mind blowing. Feel free to get inspired to undertake a similar road trip.
Aww .. the roads, landscapes , windmills add so much beauty … I know whom to get in touch with if I plan my Euro trip 😉
