Ammavaru Temple in Jeevan Bima Nagar, Bangalore
Again from my archives. A 40ft. statue of Ammavaru, adorns the facade of the temple. Painted in a red sari the idol is a sight to behold.
Ammavaru is another name for Sri Padmavathi Amma, a wife of Venkateshwara Swamy who is Tirumala. She is also called as the Goddess Om Shakti.
Here is a map, how to get there from Bangalore International Airport, Devanahalli. A distance of 43 km approx in 50 minutes.
Address:
42, Krishna Reddy Ln, Shivalingaiah Colony, Jeevan Bima Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560075, India.
