Faces of India – 335, from Rajasthan

Faces of India

a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. Faces of India Rajasthan

I don’t know why or how I end up capturing more Rajasthani women in my lens. I find myself more attracted towards them. Anyways… here is one more face from Rajasthan. She belongs to a troupe giving dance performances. I and several others stood mesmerized watching her perform. Look at her bead jewelry! She was engrossed and lost to the beat of the music. Her troupe consist mostly her family members. In the slides below you can see a child from her family and the drummer.
