Faces of India – 173 Black Henna Tattoo in Goa

Getting a temporary tattoo done is one of the ‘must do’ activities customarily followed by most tourists when they are in Goa. (Black henna tattoo done very quickly at an affordable price).

I was almost crossing the tattoo shop after waiting for a while to take the artist’s photo. He seemed too busy, after all this was his daily living. But as I was crossing I noticed the young tourist’s tattoo of Chhatrapati Shivaji on his left forearm. I was impressed with his adoration for this great leader.

Faces of India,

Faces of India is a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011.
