Faces of India – 122 Resident of Koti Himachl Pradesh
While some locals are most willing to be photographed, some find it hard to overcome their shyness, and there are some who are willing but camera conscious. Here is a camera conscious lady from Himachal Pradesh. The image is straight from camera without any processing.
Faces of India
a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. See more here…
Beautiful portrait! I'm not very good with portraits… but trying to get there!!
without any processing, its perfect.
I have also found that people (everywhere) often freeze up for photos. This lady is beautiful, in any case.
I love your series of Faces of India…but I understand well what it feels like to be camera shy. :))
What a lovely face.
A sweet expression, another very fine portrait, Indrani.

A good job you are doing.I am sure you must be guiding them with expressions in your own face.
Her Indianness is so palpable
Fantastic portrait!
Would be much better if she smiled! Btw. beautiful Indian faces 🙂
She is excellent, the more she doesn't like it, it is beneficial, great photo.
Liebe Indrani, Du verstehst es wunderbar, Menschen natĂĽrlich zu Fotografieren. Mein Kompliment…
