Wall Paintings in Brussels, Belgium

During my walking tour of Brussels, I was suddenly confronted by a huge mural painting on a wall of Tintin and Haddock. I was not expecting to see something like that and I stood staring. It appears from nowhere, I took a turn and it was there!

People of Brussels sure have a great liking for comic strips! The city started painting comic strips on walls all over the centre in 1993. What a wonderful project! Here in Bangalore too walls have mural paintings which are mostly themed around landscapes, places to see. I will be sharing some photos of those too.

Tourists are taken on comic book route where you can see more. I could chance only on these two sights. You can see more here.
