Faces of India – 49

My guess is: she is a he who is a she… confusing. Anyways I clicked. Shot taken at a roadshow in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Faces of India, a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country. See more here.

A great image, colorful. Do males take on the roles of females sometimes when dancing? In England we used to go to Pantomimes and the male lead role was always played by a female.

  19. Nice expressive face & elegantly dressed in saree. This minority (he-she) group is still much maligned and considered outcasts in most parts of India.
