She is offering her service as a vegetable cutter in the kitchen of Sri Sri Ravishankar’s Ashram. They are called sevikas (meaning lady who offers service). I was called to the ashram as a part of media.

Faces of India, a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. See more here.
