Faces of India – 170 Tourists of Goa Petting a Sleeping Dog

The things tourists do for photographing themselves!!! These tourists were petting a sleeping dog. I saw these two boys wake up this sleeping dog, pat it and pose with it. While his friends were taking his pics, I didn’t let the opportunity slip and framed them quickly. This picture was taken in Old Goa.

The dog seemed to enjoy every bit of the attention showered on it.

Faces of India,

Faces of India is a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. Did you know why dogs love getting cuddled?

Dogs cuddle to get warmth, to bond, and because it releases chemicals that make them feel good. Dog cuddles after meals equate a strong love between humans and dogs because this shows that your dog does not view you as just a feeding machine. Dogs that receive affection actually perform better on tasks.
