Faces of India – 137

He looked tired to me, but he cheered up the moment I took the camera to take his picture. After he saw his pic in the camera he asked if I was going to put in newspapers. When I told him it was for computer he seemed slightly disappointed, โ€œOh! Then I will not be able to see.โ€ Many times I have got this same response and I feel so helpless at that moment. Common man too want newspaper coverage.

Faces of India, a series through which I intend to portray the various
characters of my country whom I met during my travels. See more here.

I think what they want is a souvenir for themselves which they could probably show to the people they know. ๐Ÿ™‚ I sometimes go back to them to give them a copy of their picture ๐Ÿ˜€ but once a person told me to take pictures of his friends after I gave him, his copy ๐Ÿ˜‰

  28. I don't know if I am talking oddly enough but I had a discussion with my friend about how a common man in India wants be popular and not to learn. This thirst to gain popularity keeps us terbulent in minds. This what I wished to share. Pardon me if it doesn't suit the context.
