Faces of India – 134

Come rain or shine, we have to work for our daily living… they seemed to be saying through their smiles. Shot of two coffee estate workers in Chikmagalur, Karnataka. Note that while one had a proper raincoat on, the other had one made of plastic sack.

  13. The sheer amount of hard work these women do make me cringe every time I complain about something.

  14. In Chennai when there are heavy rains most schools and colleges are given the day off. It always makes me think what about the parents how will they manage. Necessity is the mother of invention and this smart lady has found a cheap and best way to beat the rains. Hats off to her. Superb find Indrani as usual.
