Faces of India – 108

Picture of a shop keeper, as I focused on him he shied away from looking at the lens. People around him were telling him: “Dadu (grandpa), you are soon going to be famous!”

Faces of India, a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. See more here.

Another wonderful capture, Indrani! You can almost feel his discomfort — except for the presence of his grandchildren! Beautiful!

Indrani I love this image. I also love your Faces of India so much that a year or so ago, I started to look through my portrait photos for Faces of Africa. I have a folder of the ones I have so far and may also some day post them. Thanks for sharing. Greetings Jo

Nice to be over at your blog too 🙂

Oh yes…a face tells us a lot about a person, and who or what they are. I liked this image of an old man – he does have an expressive face.

    Thanks for sharing 🙂
