a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. He was totally perplexed when I sat beside to talk to him and slowly ask him for a photograph. Why me? This is what he does now, drumming during the puja aarti times. Temple authorities are kind he said. But nobody has ever asked me why I do this he replied to my silly queries.

I met him in Vaikunta Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
