Faces of India – 315, Souvenir Seller at Transport Museum Delhi

I met this Souvenir Shop Manager in Heritage Transport Museum in Gurgaon, Haryana.

His job was to oversee the souvenir boutique nestled within Gurgaon’s Heritage Transport Museum, located in Haryana. His fervor for the curated collection was evident as he provided intricate narratives, highlighting the historical significance of the miniature antique vehicles showcased, which justified their premium pricing.

Reflecting on his role, he expressed immense contentment, asserting that this job had rekindled lasting joy within him. The vintage cars and assorted modes of transportation encircling him contributed to his delight, fostering an environment he cherished. Amidst this fulfilling backdrop, he harbored no aspirations of pursuing alternate employment paths.

Talking to him I realised how passionate he is about his job at the Heritage Transport Museum in Gurgaon, Haryana.

Faces of India

a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011.
