Faces of India

a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. I met her at the fair held during Cucumber Festival in Goa. A very cheerful lady, she was keen to sell cucumbers to me. Seeing her pile of cucumbers I asked her disbelievingly if she would be able to sell all of them. She replied in a very enthusiastic confident manner all will be sold off soon. A good sale also indicates a good start to harvest season. I could see that she was working hard to attract customers’ attention.
