Faces of India – 263, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

Faces of India

a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country whom I met during my travels. I bring back souvenirs, frozen moments from my travels, why not some memories of people I have met and interacted during the travels. Faces of India is a weekly series in my blog since MARCH 2011. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Karnataka

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

He is Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Karnataka (April 2016), India. I got the golden opportunity of taking his photograph when he came to inaugurate the Grand Mercure Hotel of Mysuru. I was there on assignment to do the newly opened hotel’s review. I had plans to take more good pictures of him but had to be satisfied with this one. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah came and went like a breeze from the event! He was there at the event for hardly ten minutes. He cut the ribbon and unveiled the foundation plaque of the hotel.

While we all expected him to speak a few words to the crowd that gathered there he bid goodbye to us. All of us were a bit disappointed. This event was some how fitted in to his busy schedule. I must say the hotel and hotel staff is lucky to have such an esteemed guest to the event even though it was for just 10 minutes.
