Belgium Skies

It was the fourth day in Belgium today. The skies are grey most of the time with no sign of sun at all. The first time I sighted sun I was confused if it was the moon I was seeing or the sun. Thankfully it isn’t raining, no drizzles either. Most of the shots have grey cloudy background unlike the bright blue skies I got in my previous tours.

Plenty of sightseeing done in these last five days. Two spots in Germany; Aachen and Schloss Augustusburg in Brul, Anne Frank’s House in Amsterdam, Bruges, Ghent, Leuven and Antwerp in Belgium. Tomorrow it will be Brussels and more. The weather forecast isn’t very encouraging, but we are armed with umbrellas and raincoats so the scene shouldn’t be bad.

The picture below is that of a section of Antwerp’s port from the window of my hotel room.

Amiens, France
Rothenburg, Germany

  • I'm glad it's not raining even though the skies are gray. Great view of the port from your window.

  • You sure do get around a lot. And I'm glad you always share.

  • I hope you get to see blue skies soon..
Take care and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

  • Too bad the sun isn't shining but I'm sure you are seeing many wonderful places!

  • The photo of the sun could have been taken here!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

  • Don’t you marvel at how the Frank family managed to survive in that little area. Those steps were something else. I loved Amsterdam and Belgium both. Sadly, I went alone. Buddy had to stay here and hold down the fort. Maybe one day I will return and he will get to go, too. I think the sky is a beautiful one. genie

  • Though its cloudy but beautiful to look at. Belgium was also famous for its glass industry.
